Importing large mailboxes

I could not manage this situation and was forced to loose some e-mails, which could not be imported. My internet connection was ok - 10GB FC, but still with the same symptoms. My suspicions was due to two issues:

1. probably it could be connected with shared e-mail folders (although other mails from this folder were importing ok);

2. corrupted file, although could not identify any cause. Or something connected to sync with files and db, leaving metadata in db, but no file in file system.

File system check didn't identify any cause or problem too.
