Default Log output disappeared

I'm having a problem with stats showing up and in the process of trying to fix it a forum entry suggested that the following command should be run as root

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup

I did this but now I get nothing showing up in /var/log/maillog.

Mail delivery/sending seems to work fine, I just can't 'see' anything.
(stats still aren't working but that is secondary to this newly created problem)

Please, how do I get my log info back?

Thanks, Tim

Yes, syslog is running.
Restarted anyways.
No change.

If it helps, syslog, and the maillog were working just fine until I restarted zimbra to run the command mentioned above.
