Zimbra Appliance 7.0 service problems

We recently installed the Zimbra Appliance and have run into some issues with it that I hope you can help with. I attempted to change the DNS configuration from the administration console and received an error that the changes could not be saved. I then noticed that the System Configuration Service had stopped. Selecting the start all services did not work so I rebooted the appliance. None of the Zimbra services would start after the boot. I used the zimbra start command and saw the system fail while starting the slapd service with the error:

Failed to start sladp. Attempting debut start to determine error.
daemon: listen (ldap://serverFQDN:389, 5) failed errno=98 (Address is already
in use)
