Default Distribution lists and SPAM

Hi All,

I've got a distribution list that is forwarding to an external address.

My Question is:

How is SPAM handled in this situation?

Does Zimbra check such emails for SPAM?
If it flags incoming as SPAM but below the kill threshhold, where does it go? Since it's a distribution list with no Junk folder...?

Just want to make sure I won't be missing any forwarded emails due to false positives on SPAM checks.

Thanks for any light shed on the subject!
