zmprov SAC no longer working

the zmprov sac (set account COS) command is no longer working, for whatever reason, on one of my servers. I get no error. I get nothing at all back. I am able to create users from there without a problem - just this command does not work.

If I give the command an incorrect COS it shoots back an error as it should. However, if I give it a good COS it comes back empty like it would if it worked. I dont have any idea where to look to see why this is happening. I wouldnt care that much, normally, but this is the server that does all the admin work. We have custom provisioning scripts that run from the web that touch this server to adjust COS and other stuff.. Thanks in advance.
