Question any tips to not be blacklisted by msn/hotmail..etc

hi,

is there any tips to cancel or to preserved to not be blacklisted by hotmail/live/msn server ?

any parameter to put in our configuration to best usage this ?

does anybody (zimbra plateform) have been already blacklistted by hotmail ?
how to solve it and how many time it takes to solved it ?

thanks for your memory and issues and experiences report here.

fyi we use zimbra NE v6.0.10 french under ubuntu (FRANCE,Amiens)

You need to look at the reason you're blacklisted, they usually provide a reason when your mail is rejected and you should contact Hotmail about the problem. You should has a reverse DNS, SPF & DKIM records (and use them) and also make sure you're not on any RBLs, that would be a start.

There are several comments in there, how to know what?,

a) you would have asked your ISP for a reverse DNS, check it with 'host your.ip.add.ress'

b) you would have set-up external DNS SPF & DKIM records (and installed some form of DKIM milter on your server).

c) you can check if you're on any RBL: +rbl +check - Yahoo! Search Results
