Default Recovering messages with the /store and databases

hi.

My zimbra server was die (server fault). I have a complete copy of the /opt/zimbra saved in an external disk, but if i try to use it to recover the server, cant start all the process.

Now i have a new zimbra server, where i create all the accounts using a bulk script. But all the users need recover the messajes.

is possible use the mailboxgroup* databases and the /store folder to recover the info?

im using zimbra 6.0.10_GA_2692.DEBIAN5_64.

thanks in advance.

I assume the version of Zimbra on the new 'server' is the same as your old version and that the hostname and the DNS records are correct? If that's the case, copy over your old /opt/zimbra directory to the new machine (obviously with Zimbra stopped) then (as root) run the zmfixperms script and when that's complete I'd suggest you reinstall the same version of Zimbra. You should be able to start it at that point, if not then post details of what the problem is including any pertinent errors from the log files.
