ZCS 7 - Error when deleting a User Account

When deleting a User Account from the Web Admin i get the below error:

Server error encountered Message: mailbox in maintenance mode: 3 Error code: mail.MAINTENANCE Method: [unknown] Details:soap:Receiver

If i try to do the same from CLI, i get ERROR: mail.Maintenance (mailbox in maintenance mode: 3)

If i check the account status from CLI i get that the response as account is Active.

I have stopped the Zimbra Services and started the same.

Went to the Web Admin and i am now able to delete the user account. Do not know why i got the error in the first place.

your profile dont mention if you are using the NE version or not?
If you are using the NE version..may be your account was getting Backed-up and during that time it was in "Maintanance" Mode.

unless we have a bug on our hands..

I am using the OS Edition and there is no backup taking place.

I'm hitting this issue as well. Have you figured out how to fix this? I ended up resorting to just removing the LDAP entry for the user.

I have the same issue, so I open a bug : Bug 59500 – Error when deleting an account when account in maintenance mode.

But after a few testing, here are the result :

- No error in CLI.

- An error occurs only when deleting an account with admin interface with Firefox 4 (Windows XP) and then there is also an error in CLI.

- No error with Firefox 3.6.16 (Windwos XP).

With the accounts in error, my only solution is to kill them with an ldap client.

Update on this:

I had a few corrupted databases. Somehow, a few tables were missing on the databases, and all of the affected users were on those databases. I repaired the tables and haven't seen this problem since.
