Default [SOLVED] all mails relayed

Hello,
I understand that zimbra handles mails for local domains by itself i.e. locally.
I however need ALL my emails as well as for local domains be relayed to externer smtp server.
Please can you help me how to configure that?
Thanks
libor

You need to set zimbraMailTransport to the external SMTP server. Check configuration example on this page:

Managing Domains - Zimbra :: Wiki

Other way to achieve this is to configure transport maps.

Transport Table for external servers - Zimbra :: Wiki

Hope this helps.

Thank you for tips. Unfortunatelly, none of these works.

To describe better my situation, I have a couple of accounts on zimbra server with email zimbra_account@domain.cz. I have other acounts of domain.cz that are not on zimbra such as nonzimbra_account@domain.cz. If I send an email from zimbra to a nonzimbra_account@domain.cz, zimbra deals with that message as local and in log there is relay=none. I am not able to persuade zimbra to handle all the accounts as not local. I want to send everything to external smtp.domain.cz.

Thanks for any help

Why do you want to do that when the mail accounts are on your local Zimbra server? It doesn't make sense to relay them to an external server for them to be delivered back to the original server.

Up til now except Zimbra (I am newbie to it and I test is nowadays) I have to other mail servers running on qmail (domain is the same for all of them) and everything goes through external smtp server of our provider.

To short it I do need to relay all messages (as well as zimbra local).
Thanks for help

You still haven't explained why you need to do this. If a user on the Zimbra server sends an email to another user on the same Zimbra server it does not make sense to relay it to another external server just so it can be sent back to the Zimbra server - that's not sensible and not the way it works.

The reason why I need it is that not all users of domain.cz have the email account on zimbra server. Anyway, some users of domain.cz are no zimbra and others arent. Is zimbra able to discern that some users of domain.cz should relay and some are local.

thanks

Go to the wiki (or search the forums) for Split Domain.
