[SOLVED] Migration from ZCS 6.0.6 to 7

We are looking to migrate our existing zimbra setup which is on 6.0.6 to 7, I have a 7 box setup, and I'm at the point of migrating all the users over to the new system. I've tried using the migration wizard, but get to the LDAP section, and I'm always told that the credentials are incorrect.

Our current setup uses our AD for authentication, but the AD also has alot of extra users which I don't want in our zimbra setup, consequently I have been using Other Zimbra LDAP during the migration wizard.

I don't know LDAP as well as I would like, and I feel this is where my problem is, can someone please provide me with an example of what the Bind DN should look like, and also the LDAP Base search field. The LDAP filter is (objectclass=zimbraAccount), is this correct?

I know there are cli methods for doing this, but given the migration wizard is there, I thought it would be worth a try.

Has anyone else used it successfully yet?

Managed to fix this problem myself, the ldap directory details are included below... the bind dn was the default

bind DN -> uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra

got the password using

su - zimbra
zmlocalconfig -s zimbra_ldap_password

base search was

dc=example,dc=com (replace example and com with your domain stuffs)

use DN = uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra
and password you need to use ldap password which you can find out using following command
zmlocalconfig -s | grep password

it should work

i have a ZOS 6.0.9 that i want to migrate to a fresh hardware whit ZOS 7.

i dont andestend the new Migration Wizard.

some help whit migration of accounts (DN , CN ... ) from another Zimbra Server and the migration from another IMAP.

i dont find no how on google.

new migration wizard provide account as well as imap accounts data migration from non zimbra mail server also
but there is bug on zimbra 7.0 pulling mail from another sytem
