Arrow whitelist for postfix spam filters

hello,
what is the zimbra way of adding a whitelist to the postfix mta server?
I've added a few mtarestrictions and rbl_clients. I haven't seen it yet but I wouldn't be suprised to get false positives.
If this happens, I'd like to be prepared to fix zimbra.

On a regular postfix install, you add check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/whitelist

then you list the domains in the whitelist file, for example:
domain1.com OK
domain2.com OK

The check_sender_access is added to the smtpd_recipient_restrictions parameter.

Thanks,

Oskar

Default Whillist blues

I very definitely have this problem.

If domains are blocked then you dont get mail from them and you can not then forward a copy of them to the notspam@domain account.

I too would like to have a simple white list that we could just put individual email addresses in.

Default Still an issue

Maybe I am missing something here I dont think the spamd detailed in the wiki does whitelists. currently we manually drop spam blockers when a customer complains then everyone esle complains when they get extra spam

Default Whitelists

Not sure about the RBL's but you can whitelist in spamassassin
nano -w /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/60_whitelist.cf ? Maybe, haven't tested it yet.

Default Putting whitelist in local.conf

If I look at the file above it says I should edit my local.conf file. So I suppose if I put this in then
the domains will be whitelisted.

# My Added whitelist
def_whitelist_from_rcvd *@domaintolist1.com
def_whitelist_from_rcvd *@domaintolist1.com

If this works then it would be useful to add from the zimbra interface.

has a whitelist option been added yet? I was unable to find it in the GUI's. I'm a network customer with customers who will require a whitelist very shortly. Any luck getting this supported in an incremental update?

It's always best to search bugzilla first, have a look at bug 7556 and bug 6953

Don't forget to vote on that bug if you want to give it added weight.

Auto whitelist.

I'm new to Zimbra. I use MailScanner and Openwebmail. I wrote a bash script that would check the user address list. Any address would be added to the the whitelist..
