Default Updating Zimbra from 7.0 to 7.0.1 (Spam Filter Fix)

I have tried everything suggested and no success in fixing the junk mail issue. If I update the zimbra server from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1 will it possibly fix the problem?

Thanks John for your help... Big thanks goes to "sandesh" for taking his time and staying with me for 2 hours to make sure that is fix. This is the solution:

Code:
 root@mambo:~# su - zimbra
 zimbra@mambo:~$ zmlocalconfig -e amavis_dspam_enabled=false
 zimbra@mambo:~$ zmcontrol stop; zmcontrol start

Hi Guys Hope this helps. I had the same issue. I upgraded from zimbra 5.0.2 to 7.1.2 and noticed that the spam filtering was not working. Went to the message source and saw no spam scoring. Tried everything in this forum and still not working. I investigated the amavisd.conf file and noticed the following line:

@bypass_spam_checks_maps = (1); # uncomment to DISABLE anti-spam code

this line was uncommented. I checked the amavisd.conf.in file and it had:

%%comment SERVICE:antispam%% @bypass_spam_checks_maps = (1); # uncomment to DISABLE anti-spam code

which should have commented this line but for some reason it didn't so I manually commented the line in the amavisd.conf.in:

# @bypass_spam_checks_maps = (1); # uncomment to DISABLE anti-spam code

and restarted the zimbra services:

zmcontrol stop; zmcontrol start

and the spam filtering started to work again.
