Default Upgrade to NE 6.10 or 7.0 Question

I currently am running on NE 6.04 and would like some advice on upgrading to either 6.10 or 7.0. Can I go straight to these new releases or do I have to install any in between versions? What changes may cause me grief, if any? Will my current license work with 7.x?

You don't have to go to any intermediate versions but do read the Release Notes thoroughly before you upgrade.

There are two specific (but minor) issues that have caused problems. Those issues are a zeroed main.cf file and a problem with licence activation (both issues are covered in the forums). The 'main.cf does not happen to everyone (take a backup of your original file) but it's easy to fix. Similarly the activation problem is relatively easy to fix. Search the forums for both thread and read them first.

Yes, it will (if it's valid ) but Licence Activation is now required - see the comments above.
