Default Mail Logs

Can anyone tell me how far back the mail logs should be saved?

I have gone through them all and it seems they ours only go back to the 2nd of Feb of this month.

Is this the norm?

Yes, it is. If you want longer retention then my advice would be to use a syslog server.

Does anyone know of any other way (other than checking the logs) to see if someone has sent to or received from someone else?

I have checked our SPAM Filter as well.

Within Zimbra the logs contain the only information about mail sent & received.

Does that server indicate in it's logs that a (missing?) message was delivered to Zimbra?
