Default Upgrade from 6 to 7 HOWTO

Hi there,
Just downloaded a copy of v7 Open Source with a view to upgrading my v6 OS on an Unbuntu 8.04LTS box. Is there a generic README on how to upgrade and any prerequisites I might need please? Or is it simply a case of running the installer for 7 and it will detect the 6 installation and upgrade it accordingly? I'm running this on a VM so can easily snapshot it in case things go horribly south but would really like to get this done.
Cheers in advance,
Si

Yes, full details are (always) in the Release Notes).

Yes that's the usual process but make sure you read the Release Notes before the upgrade.

Thanking you kindly. I shall, as I always tell my users to 'RTFM' :-)

I know it's a small thing,

But I always feel the same grudging sense of mild irritation when I
open a tar ball, and dig into the docs folder for the release notes, , , ,

and they are pdfs.

The Release Notes are actually on the same page where you downloaded the version of Zimbra for your server or you could even go to the Documentation page for them.

Is it also possible to enable the IDLE command when upgrading?
