This thread is about 'successful upgrades', you should not have posted in this thread - I'll move this post.

You should post details of your problem and what errors you see in the log file and which version you're upgrading from plus the operating system.

Please provide more info on the problem. Is this a fresh install or an upgrade? What steps did you follow? Have you downloaded the correct ZCS that suits your platform?

Attach the zmsetup.log or qoute the point of error here.

I am currently using zimbra zimbra 6.0.7. I make a snap shot image of the virtual machine and tried to upgrade by downloading the RHEL 5 zimbra 7. After installation, no process has started.
Am i missing any step? If so can someone direct me to the manual or instructions for upgrade.

@phoenix, I am sorry, i am new to this forum.

You need to look in the log files for any errors.

The details of how to upgrade is in the Release Note (you should always read them in detail) but it's just run the ./install.sh script.

Hi Anand, adding to what Bill stated .. there isn't much steps you have to follow other than download the right ZCS for your OS and arch. Then run the install.sh script, follow the instructions on the way. Watch closely for any errors, there will be a log generated. You will be able to see any errors both in the screen and with details in the log file.

I hope you get it running, if you face any errors please post here. We'll try to help you out.
