i deactived and shutdown it by myself inside the backend cause i taught it would be easy to activate it the same way. which simply was not true
as fare as i have read inside this forum this happened to some guys the same way.

just wondering, did you resolve this issue? and how?
no - and as far as i see this problem is not new and everytime and the last years somebody had the same problems there was never posted a solution. now i think about a way to delete the domain, perhaps by going directly into the database.
For the status of the domain I see the following states that can be set; Active, Closed, Locked, Maintenance and Suspended. When you shut it down which one had you used ? Will try and replicate the issue on a dummy domain.
As far as i can remember i have suspended the domain - the point is that i have the status shutdown and i get told that i have to suspend the internal lock before i can change the status again.but there is no option wether on commandline or in the zimbra administrationbackend to do this.
