Default chargin

Zimbra Server 6.08_GA_2661.UBUNTU10_64 running on Ubuntu Server box version 10.04.1.
AJAX Clients are running on fully patched (sp3) XP Pro systems in Firefox 3.6.13

I've disabled Zimlet com_zimbra_date hoping Zimbra will stop "helping" us.

You need to update your forum profile with that information. I'll move this to the correct forum as it's not a Zimbra Desktop question.

Have you checked that your timezone on the client PC and the server (plus the settings in the account Web UI) are correct? When it's forwarded is it going to an external account or another local Zimbra account? Does the recipient have their timezone set correctly (are they in the same timezone as the original sender (and the account that's forwarding the email) on their PC?

Why are you actually forwarding the message rather than just inviting the final recipient to the meeting?

The client PC and account Web UI are all set to Mountain standard. Checking on the server time zone, yes mountain standard as well. Forwarding was done in house to other local Zimbra accounts. We have no way of controlling the original sender's (external account) time zone settings and are not in a position to provide technical assistance to them.

We are forwarding these messages as a form of communication and as a way of tracking corrispondence (we need a "paper" trail for the lawyers). The "receptionist" that reviewed the initial email does not have authority to schedule or invite anyone to meetings and can only forward such messages.

I suppose we could start taking screen captures and attaching those to replys and forwards but it seems a bit cumbersome.

Did you check the times?
I think 11:30 MST = 13:00 EST i.e. MST is GMT-7, and EST is GMT-5.

So the appointment was created by someone near the East coast of NA, and viewed by someone in two time zones to their west.

IF everyone is to be on the conference it would seem that presenting the appointment in their local timezone would be the correct thing to do.
