HELO Hostname Mail server connection failed; nested exception is javax.mail.Messaging

Hi,

When I am trying to send mail via server, I am getting error message :
"Mail server connection failed; nested exception is javax.mail.MessagingException: 501 Syntax: HELO hostname
"

The setting in hosts.template file is as below :

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
124.153.104.21 FQDN
124.153.104.21 localhost

That hosts file is incorrect, go to the Split DNS article (or search the forums) and run all the commands in the 'Verify...' section to check your hosts file and DNS entries. The article contains complete details of what should be in the hosts file & DNS records as does the Quick Start Installation Guide.
