Briefcase on separate partition, storage

I have searched the archives without much luck, on Zimbra 6 NE, we would like to setup the briefcase, but we want to put the files on a separate partition (we are not talking about HSM, this would be the live storage for the briefcase (and if possible docs too)). Foe example, I wish to mount some extra storage on say /opt/zimbra/briefcasedocuments and then somehow tell Zimbra to store all of the briefcase and document files there.

For some reason I think I read that this is not possible in 5.x, but that it would be possible to configure in 6.x.

Any help would be appreciated.

No, it's not possible in 6.x either, have a look in bugzilla and see if there's an RFE if there isn't you should file one.

Are there plans for adding this soon? I see there is an RFE similar to this but it gives no indication of progress. Any chance this will be available in ZCS 7?

Not unless there's an RFE for it. Nothing happens by magic, the correct place to request a feature is in bugzilla by filing an RFE (for enhancements) or bug report (for bugs, obviously ) and they will get to the attention of the developers.

No, it will not be included in Zimbra 7. Any update is provided on the RFE and it's status will change as work progresses. When the it's finally fixed and been through QA you'll see it targeted for a release version, that will then be updated on the Product Portal.
