Default How to force/rewrite the URL?

For historical reasons, we have several older hostnames pointing to our new Zimbra server, which has the URL https://zimbra.example.com.

The other hostnames ('mail' and 'webmail') are CNAMEd to the 'zimbra' host, so that users can access the server with them. However, when doing so they get certificate warnings because the SSL cert is for the master 'zimbra' host name. Is there any way to force Zimbra to rewrite or redirect the URL so that no matter what the user types it always goes to https://zimbra.example.com?

I have also the same problem. Are there anyone solve this problem? I have been working on it for days but I don't have any result. I think the key file is jetty.xml.in for it but how?

Thank you in advanced.

I solved it by setting up a web server to listen on port 80 and redirect those domains to the Zimbra installation at a different port. eg: http://mail.example.com redirects to https://zimbra.example.com:8080

Thank you for your quick answer. Also, I'm wondering that are there any solution without install an extra server? For example, configure jetty to rewrite the url

Regards,
