Default [SOLVED] Zimbra network edition updates, upgrades, patches

Hi!

I have fresh installation of Zimbra Network edition.
And did quick search about Zimbra updates, upgrades and patches - bud did not found usable resource. The only suggestions is - to backup all server, and then do clear install of new version, and then restore full backup?

Does Zimbra has some patch repository? How (or do I need at all?) to check, does it have updates available at all?

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post the output in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v
I'll also move this thread to the correct forum.

There are details in the forums on what's necessary and in the Release Notes.

Nobody in the forums has ever suggested doing a clean install then a restore of your Zimbra server. What you do is take a backup of your server (which is always good practice before any product update) then read the Release Notes about the update and when you've done that you run the installer to update Zimbra. You may, of course, want to test the new version a a test server before upgrading your production server.

No, there is no special repository. There is a feature in the Admin UI that will check for updates and notify you if there's any available.

No, mostly it is done as an in-place upgrade. Install the new build over the existing one, it will ask for and then perform the upgrade.
