Exclamation [SOLVED] zip/rar with passwords getting blocked.

Hi everybody.

After reading the whole morning on this and changing the
/opt/zimbra/conf/clamd.conf.in and
/opt/zimbra/conf/clamd.conf
setting the MARKED ENCRYPTED ARCHIVES to no
I still can not send encrypted files (rar/zip files with passwords) through ZIMBRA.

What I can do is send it to myself, but anybody else does not get it. (In other words, sending to oneself goes though, but not to anybody else)

Please help, as most of our documentation gets mailed encrypted.

Kind regards
Aubrey Kloppers

can you paste the header details here.

There is a a setting in the Admin GUI >> Global Settings AS/AV >> that also blocks encrypted archives. Try un-checking it too.

You know the strange thing? I disabled the ArchiveBlockEncrypted and re-enabled and also unchecked and re-checked the as/av global setting for block encrypted archives and now all email attachments seem to go through with no problem, even when all is re-initialized. Kinda strange right? Does anyone know why this happens? Does the Anti-virus utility learn that pdf's and certain email attachments sent through are safe?
