Default Change SA Score Percentages via CLI instead of GUI

I'm testing a switch from open source to the appliance. I think I'll be able to do this no problem. However, the "simplified" GUI gives you almost no customization at all, if any. (As I've stated in another thread asking for help).

Thanks to DWMTRACTOR on this forum, my current Open Source Zimbra has been working well with catching spam. I plan to make the same changes, but wait, we changed the tag and kill percentage scores via the GUI. The ZCA doesn't have that, but seems to allow CLI customization no problem.

So which file needs to be edited via the CLI to change this and prevent Zimbra from overwriting it on a restart or upgrade?

Thanks,

kazoo

Everything that can be done in the Admin UI can be done via the command line, the two attributes you want are:

Code:
zmprov gcf zimbraSpamTagPercent
zmprov gcf zimbraSpamKillPercent
That will display the current values and you can modify those attribute settings.

Changes to zimbra files are for non-standard modifications.

Thanks again Phoenix. But this time I am still unclear as to what the answer is. How do I actually make the change via CLI? You say the code you provided will 'display" the settings. But I am unsure how to modify them via the CLI.

Hope I'm not being dense here and missing the obvious.

Thanks,

kazoo

You modify those attributes with 'zmprov mcf', full details in 'zmprov help commands'.
