[SOLVED] How to grant "Send As" right to users?

Apologies if the question is basic but I've only just started evaluating a possibility of Zarafa-to-Zimbra migration and trying to match the needed features.

Say we have sales@company.com and I want all the sales staff to be able to compose and sent e-mails using that address in addition to their own. I can't find a way to grant such a right to a user.

That feature is called a Persona in Zimbra, users can send email as another user - you can use it in conjunction with Shared mailboxes which, I assume, all sales staff will have access to.

I've tried adding a new persona for a user but the drop-down for "From" only has user's own e-mail address and its aliases and no way to choose "sales@..."

You just type the email address in the 'from' field and/or 'reply to', you may also need the 'Send from any address' set in the Admin UI.

... you need to to grant the appropriate rights to use Personas in the COS too.

Also there is a setting to allow any from address for users:

zmprov mc default zimbraAllowAnyFromAddress TRUE

"default" may be your Class of Service. This can be set via Admin GUI too.

Thank you very much guys for your replies. 'Send from any address' was indeed the missing piece. Now everything works as expected.
