 Web client in 6.0.9, last highlighted email gets checked
I am not sure of two things here, 1) if this post goes here or in "users" or elsewhere and 2) if I am being technically correct about the wording, so bear with me.
If one opens up the web client with Zimbra 6.0.9 server and logs in, then checks mail
and highlights one email message (just click on any email in your INBOX once), then you click on
"Get Mail" your currently highlighted email will now be "checked" (e.g. there is a check
mark in the box to the left of the email).
Ok, big deal, right? Well, we have a few users who are doing the following, on accident:
from the state the web client is in after the above actions, you will note the "Delete" button is greyed out. However, if you "check" (e.g. put a check in the checkbox) a few other emails, you will now note the "Delete" button is not greyed out and you can in fact delete the mails you wanted to, but it will also delete the last mail you had highlighted before you hit the "Get Mail" button.
I know this sounds like one of those "tell the user NOT to do that", and it sounds more complicated than it is when I type it out, but apparently, it happens to a number of users we have here... enough that we had to figure out what they were doing and then wonder why the zimbra web client would do that.
If anyone else has seen this problem, or knows how to shut that feature off, it would be greatly appreciated.  |
