Question ZCS 6.0.10 Announcement Missing?

Hey Guys,

I sub to the Zimbra Announcements forum and never saw a 6.0.10 release announcement..

Was this overlooked, or are all future 6.x releases going to be unannounced?

6.0.10 was released (according to pm) on December 23rd.

Thanks!

I noticed that too.
And .10 was an important security release, due to a(nother) openssl bug. It should have been shouted out loud!

Yeah that's what worries me - I wonder if there's a more "official" notification alerts they use. We really need to know when they have important security updates.

I'm also very surprised we haven't seen a response from Zimbra/VMware.

I agree, it should go in announcements on the forum. But you should also check the support portal periodically, or even better, subscribe to its RSS feed. That's where 6.0.10 was announced. (Or, correction, there was announcement saying it was coming. I'm not sure how I knew it had arrived; possibly by checking pm.zimbra.com.)

Don't you get the automatic email into your admin account?

I (too) didn't get any mail announcing the release, came to know about it when I saw a thread in Zimbra Success Stories - Zimbra :: Forums

I had to confirm it from the support portal.

Your server has an automatic check for updates, isn't that enabled in the Admin UI?
