Incorrect briefcase URL?

Searched the site and cannot find exactly what I'm looking for. Setup is in a split-dns type scenario where internal users can access on standard 80/443 ports, while external users must use a non-standard https port (9080).

External users are able to browse the briefcase,etc. but the links that are defined for viewing or downloading briefcase content are incorrect. If the external user is connected via HTTPS on 9080, the URL's being given do not include the modified port. This works for internal users (obviously) as they're using the standard HTTP/HTTPS ports.

What do we have to do in order to get the port appended to the URL for external users?
