sent emails from external accounts goes in wrong sent-folder?
Some Users here use several external accounts in their zimbra-setup.
They can easily send emails for one of this external accounts by composing a new message and choose the email-adress for this account in the FROM-dropdown.
But the sent email is then not saved in the the Sent-folder for this account but in the sent-folder of the main-account which is very annoying.
Anyway to change this? Any workaround? I dont think filter will help, cause when I move all emails from this "external-account-adress" to the Sent-box one might miss mails that are sent from this external-account to this persons main-adress.
It's not lol, because from my point of view this was essential info for resolving. If it was for Outlook client, I might have some experience, if not, hope someone else does.

I suppose you just misunderstood that by external account, we mean external accounts within zimbra, not another mail client ...
Ups...yes, I misunderstood initial post. And funny (yes, it's lol this time), I have the same issue on Webmail of ZCS 7.0.0 with both, external and internal (on the same ZCS server) accounts. All sent mail goes into my primary account's SENT folder.
Yep, so I believe this sounds like a confirmed 'bug'.
This is not a bug. Email for an external account is sent via the Zimbra server and will therefore be filed in the Sent folder - there is only one Sent folder (on the Zimbra server) even if you have external accounts. if you wish to have mail filed in the sent folder of the external account then the mail needs to be sent via the external account mail server - search bugzilla as there's an RFE for that.
