Hello,
I have the above error when trying to change password, after update to V7 this error was gone.

Default No need to upgrade
For me has been enough to do :

FIX: clear zimbraPasswordChangeListener attribute
$ su - zimbra
$ zmprov md DOMAIN zimbraPasswordChangeListener ''
