Default [SOLVED] Zimbra can't resolve host (none)

Hi all !

OSE user for two years now, I love zimbra ^^

Today, I was checking my configuration and turns out my server wasn't sending me all the sys emails (sendmail not pointing to zimbra...bad bad bad admin ^^). Now that is fixed, zimbra is sending me something like 3 emails per minutes saying :

Quote:
(none) : déc. 15 15:50:09 : zimbra : unable to resolve host (none)
sent by zimbra@myhost.mydomain.com

sooo I double checked my /etc/hosts, my server name is well configured, checked if my hostname was well configured in zimbra too (using postconf smtp_helo_name myhostname) and all good ... my bind server is also working like a charm.

The only thing I see is a random blank email without any sender or receivers in my Zimbra queue.

I checked the logs, but the only thing I see is zimbra sending me this email, nothing else (like, when or where is it generated?)

If you guys have any idea, it would be more than welcome ^^ My mailbox is exploding !

Cheers

Why start with the Split DNS article and post all the information asked for in the 'Verify...' section of that article, just for confirmation.

hostname $(hostname) was returning (none)

Set it to my reverse dns and all good now ...

Thanks for your help on this one !
