Default Repeating Service Notifications

Hello All,
I am using version 6.0.9. I recently had the server down for a couple of days. Since I have started it backup up, I keep getting repeating notifications to admin that the services where down and then later started back up. I get almost 200 of them usually 2 times daily.
I would like some help in solving this issue. I cleared out clientmqueue and mqueue. But I just keep getting notifications about the same events.

Please help.

Regards,
Podilarius

Thank you very much for the reply.

Unfortunately, there is only 1 email in there from a user that has gotten deferred.
What process governs the notifications about services? If the MTA is not running does it store those on disk and if so, where?

After fixing the log rotate problem and waiting for logs to completly rotate, the error seems to have gone away. I don't know if this was the root cause or not. Here is a link to where the log rotate issue is mostly solved.

Can the developers confirm that this would potentially fix this issue?
