Default Minor release upgrade process

Hi,

I'm struggling to find any reference to an upgrade procedure. I have version 6.0 but want to upgrade to latest revision 6.09.

How do I go about doing this without affecting existing installation?

Thanks,

Andy

It's the same for all releases and it's detailed in the Release Notes (and all over the forums).

Read the Release Notes (in detail) while you're downloading the new version and run a backup of the /opt/zimbra directory structure, unpack the downloaded file then run the ./install.sh script.

make sure that you have a latest working backup... and the installation procedures can be found easily from the forum/wiki

Hi,

I am planning to upgrade my zimbra server from 6.0.7_GA_2473_CentOS5_64 to 6.0.10_GA_2692.RHEL5_64.

I am trying to findout approximately how much down time I need to expect. My server is rather powerful with 8 core CPU & 16 GB RAM.

I have following amount of data in my /opt/zimbra folder

1.3G db
2.1G index
12G store

Could some one please advise.

Thanks,
Sherin
