Exclamation Calendar appopintments disappear

I've got a somewhat critical situation going on. I'll lay out the details as best I can:

Brad and Brett share a secretary, Devvi. Their calendars are shared with her. Sometimes their appointments need to be rescheduled. Devvi goes into their calendars and moves the appointments to the new time. What seems to happen though is that some of the appointments disappear. They aren't on Brad or Brett's Blackberries. They're not on their Outlook calendar. They're not on their Zimbra webmail calendar. They just seem to go away.

Any thoughts?

What is Devvi using to access the calendars and move the appointments?

ZWC? Outlook?

All 3 users are on Outlook. ZCO is installed on all 3 of course.

Well, I don't have any quick answers but I also wonder if these appointments are meetings proposed by someone else, or if they're just single-person appointments.

I also wonder how the appointments are getting onto the Blackberries in the first place. BES? NotifySync/Astrasync?

I have a couple of users who have Blackberries. I don't personally use one, and these users aren't easy to get a hold of, so I don't know exactly what they do. But my impression is that they do a wired sync with Outlook, and both of them have had various problems. Other Blackberry users seem to have done things like accepting meetings onto local calendars on their devices, and then they wonder why the meetings don't show up on the server.

In short I don't recommend using a Blackberry for calendaring with Zimbra unless you use a "real" Zimbra approach such as BES connector or ActiveSync via NotifySync/AstraSync.

We're running a BES for our Blackberries. I think it's some odd combination of Blackberry, Zimbra, and Outlook. Throw in that appointments get accepted and deleted between Blackberries, the user's own Outlook, and Devvi accepting and deleting items via a shared calendar and it gets ugly fast.
