Default [SOLVED] Interesting Error (stressfull too)

Hi all,

My zimbra box has been working great for a few years now..

Recently we started using E-receipts for Records Management Program.

The program will send the e-receipt to a given list of email address it has stored per client.

My problem occurs when i my zimbra box tries to send the e-receipt to an external email address. It sends it fine to my email address which is both internal and external.

This is the error i am getting from the application :

System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Transaction failed. The server response was: 5.7.1 <nicole.george@firstcaribbeanbank.com>: Relay access denied
at System.Net.Mail.RecipientCommand.CheckResponse(Smt pStatusCode statusCode, String response)
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpTransport.SendMail(MailAddress sender, MailAddressCollection recipients, String deliveryNotify, SmtpFailedRecipientException& exception)
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message)
at RSEventInterestServiceNS.SMTPHandler.SendMessage(M ailMessage mailMessage, String& failureText)

my zimbra error code :

Have you try to verify if the user account is still active at the other end?

I think you may have a DNS issue:

Code:
reject: RCPT from unknown[192.168.10.7]: 554
Since both servers have private IP addresses on different subnets, I'll presume you've solved all the routing issues and configured Split DNS correctly for your Zimbra server.

Either add 192.168.10.7 to MTATrustedNetworks on your Zimbra or configure DNS so that 192.168.10.7 "presents" to the Zimbra server as a legitimate public email server would, in accordance with the Split DNS wiki.

Hope that helps,
Mark

Admin Console > Servers Dropdown in left vertical navigation strip (click on your server) > MTA tab of the server's settings pages > last setting at the bottom.

Be careful not to remove any of the existing entries!

Hope that helps,
Mark
