When you say 'backup' what do you actually mean, what is it you're trying to achieve?

i would like to setup a secondary mail server that act as backup when the primary ones goes down. The mx backup should queue mail for some domains that i configure, then when the primary comes up again it sends all queued mails to the primary.

Thank you for help

That should be fairly trivial to set-up, take your pick of these articles: +"backup mx server" +postfix - Yahoo! Search Results

Using a backup MX is likely to open that as a target for spammers, it's a well known problem with a backup MX server. My advice would be to use a professional service that provides a Backup MX and will also have a server that's on-line 24/24. The alternative (and one which I use) is to get that service as part of a Domain Hosting service, I use EasyDNS to host my DNS and they have a service that will accept mail if your server is down. They also store the mail for up-to five days (or when your server is back on-line) and then forward it to your Zimbra server. That's a relatively inexpensive service and works extremely well, I must point out that I have no association with EasyDNS other than as a happy user of their service.
