Default [SOLVED] Web admin status/logging problems

After upgrading the network edition from 6.08 to 6.09 'zmcontrol status' reports that everything is running and indeed everything works from a user perspective. However, the daily mail report reports 0 of everything and when logging in via the web admin console there is nothing but red X'es in the server status. Also, server statistics reports "service.FAILURE Method: GetLoggerStatsRequest Details:soap:Receiver".

Based on [SOLVED] ZIMBRA LOG error the following steps were tried:

Install rsyslog
Run (as root): '/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup'
Run (as zimbra): 'zmcontrol stop' followed by 'zmcontrol start'

But it did not solve the issue.

Any ideas?

After installing the newest version (6.0.10) reverting to 'syslog-ng', running '/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup', and restarting the system logger ('/etc/init.d/syslog restart') it works again. Apparently, changing to rsyslogd had caused the log messages to end op in '/var/log/messages' instead of the dedicated zimbra log files in '/var/log'.

This worked for me on Ver 7.

Everything was fine until I rebooted then red x's all the way down. Email was still working, both sending and receiving just displayed wrong status.

Still having an issue with SPAM filter but I am off to search for that solution.
