Default too_many_accounts error

Hi,

One of our domains have problems changing password. It shows "too_many_accounts" error. Even from my admin console, I am not able to change password as well.

The funny thing is that this domain is using only 24 out of 26 given accounts (including system accounts such as wiki etc). And our server is using only 138 out of 200 licenses. So what has gone wrong?

btw, does system accounts use up domain account and server license limits?

I tried zmprov md <DOMAIN> zimbraDomainMaxAccounts <NEW LIMIT> but still had the same problem.

btw, how do I send official Zimbra support? Thru zimbra.com or vmware.com?

Why are you doing this, whet exactly is the problem?

It's the same address as always, use the support portal.

Because both end user and administrator are not able to change password. See attached printscreen errors that seems to suggest that the number of accounts reached the limit despite having plenty of accounts still available.

How do you know that you haven't reached the limit? Have you displayed (via the cli) the number of accounts on your server?

How do you show the accounts in CLI? Anyway, I have increased the limit in both the CLI and GUI twice just to make sure. So I'm sure it's not cause by account limited. Even if so, why should reaching account limits has to do with changing password? I don't get it.

Go to the wiki and search (or search the forums) for the word 'zmlicense'.

For the simple reason that when you're over the account limit you're not allowed to add accounts or modify the current accounts. Are you absolutely certain your licence hasn't expired?

The problem is solved once I remove account limits from the domain. I have email Zimbra Technical Support to check on this bug.
