Default [SOLVED] MTA : Notification on message entry to bounce queue.

Hi,

I've been looking through the options, and can't seem to see anything relevant.

Is there a method of having a "soft bounce" notification given to the sender when a message enters the deffer/bounce queue (as well obviously as the final hard bounce we have given up notification) ?

I couldn't see an RFE for this which means it's either implemented and I'm blind, or no one else has ever wanted this which I find hard to believe ?

If truly there is an interest, I will create an RFE.

What difference do you think a 'soft bounce' would make, what are you trying to achieve? It's usually set-up when you have a configuration problem with your server or are making configuration changes.

Actually, I used the phrase "soft bounce" in error.

And took a longer look at bugzilla and found Bug 19370 – write delay_warning_time postfix parameter
