Capabilities of resource booking

Sorry if this is not the right forum for this question, but it's the closest I could find for a general question about Zimbra's capabilities (if it belongs elsewhere, please point me in the right direction).

I'm looking at a set of requirements for a project, some of which look as if they could be met by Zimbra, but I've not actually worked with Zimbra yet so I'm hoping someone could help me. I understand that Zimbra has a resource booking functionality, which could be used for example to book meeting rooms. Does it have the capability (or could this capability be easily added by some means) to block book a certain room for a recurring booking? E.g., to say Mr X requires Room 100 every Wednesday at 3pm, and then have the capability to override that for certain dates? Thanks in advance. Zimbra looks a great product, and I hope we can make it work for us.
