    Default Junk/Not Junk E-Mail Accounts

    Hi,

    When we forward e-mail to our junk/not junk e-mail accounts to help in training the spam system, can Zimbra handle e-mails that have multiple attached e-mails? Some of our staff received alot of junk e-mails over the weekend and wanted to know if they have to forward each junk e-mail individually or can they select all of the junk e-mail and forward in one e-mail?

    If I remember correctly that is the way Zimbra perfers them....

    When in the webclient and you tag something as junk, it will move it to you junk folder and forward the message as an attachement to your spam account. As well I remember viewing the spam training process, and spam that was not sent as an attachment was disregarded. So I alway send my spam messages as an attachment.

    looking at the code, we do train on multiple attachments in the spam/not-spam accounts' messages. eg, if the msg structure is:

    Code:
         multipart/mixed
              text/plain
              message/rfc822
              message/rfc822
    SpamExtract.java (used to dump messages from the spam/not-spam acccounts), will extract the two attached messages.

    Depends on how your client forwards multiple messages at the same time.
