Can anyone tell me where to find information or provide instructions on how to migrate AWAY FROM Zimbra to Yahoo. I can't see anyone to backup my Zimbra and restore it into Yahoo.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default imap synch

interesting...thanks.

What about if I just want to get off of zimbra and move to a POP3 in a client like outlook. How can I get a full export of my zimbra file that is importable into outlook?

Well... since Zimbra supports POP3, just enable it (if not already) and download your email to whatever mailclient you wish.

By the way: is this really a ZCS question or are you perhaps talking about the desktop version of Zimbra?

Default exporting from zimbra

Perhaps I should explain better. I currently have my mail with a Zimbra hosted provider. I am using ZimbraOLKConnector for outlook so that I can use Outlook as my email client.

Although I like Zimbra, I currently would like to stop using my current mail provider. My actual domain and email is currently hosted with Yahoo, but everything forwards to my Zimbra provider.

So, how do I export all of my mail from Zimbra and either import it to Yahoo directly or import it to my outlook client. I can see there is an option to export my mail from Zimbra, but what format will it be in?

thanks,

Ok, now I understand

I have no experience with the Zimbra outlook connector, but since it's basically just Outlook does it not already store all your email in a PST file? What's the size of your local PST file(s)?

Another option, if both your Zimbra provider and Yahoo support IMAP, would indeed be to use imapsync, as mentioned above.
