Default [SOLVED] Zimbra in an internal host

Hi all,

I am new to zimbra.
I have installed it on an internal host with no official dns-name: lxzimbra.company.com

I can log into webmail as admin, but when I try to send an email to myself I see the following error in zimbra.log:

Nov 22 17:12:15 lxzimbra postfix/lmtp[18148]: 1FA4120D48: to=<admin@lxzimbra.company.com>, relay=none, delay=0.01, delays=0/0/0.01/0, dsn=5.4.4, status=bounced (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=lxzimbra.company.com type=A: Host not found)

I have the following question:
How can I configure zimbra without an official dns-name ?

Any help is appreciated.

Miche

You need a Split DNS set-up and a valid (and correctly formatted) /etc/hosts file.
