Question try to eleminate spamming..

Hello guyz.

i have a set...which a little bit different than usual...i have an SMTP server as smtpout, which has an anti-virus/spam appliance as relay-host.

so the scenario is like this

mail-client ---ConnectTo--> ZimbraSMTP ---ConnectTo--> AntiVirus Appliance.

the problem is, the email client connects to my SMTP server, and after SASL authenticating with user test_user@trusteddomain.com, the relay is enabled, and the client can send emails using (anyuser@anydomain.com).

Is there any way to disable that kind of spoofing on zimbra ?

Thanks

Another question...is there a way to set a limit for the emails sent per session or per userID or per time interval ?

That isn't 'spoofing' that's normal behaviour for an authenticated user, I assume this is a genuine user that's defined on your server? I'm also assuming they can use the Persona feature to send emails from any address?

One answer to your other question would be PolicyD

To save us having to keep asking which version you have installed you should update your forum profile with the output of the following command:

Code:
zmcontrol -v
