URL to shared drive in an email?

I have emails that link to shared drives that get sent.. In outlook they show fine, but in the web client it tries to open up a webpage 'about:blank' Is there any way to modify the syntax to allow zimbra to open up a shared drive url (UNC) ?
I have tried file://server/share but it didnt work.
