Default HSM Gone wrong

Hello all,

We have a bit of a problem on our install, We enabled HSM and did the following.

New volume shown as
HSM /media/usbdisk/zimbra/hsm as secondary message volume
message1 /opt/zimbra/store as primary message volume
index1 /opt/zimbra/index as index

So HSM ran without issue and moved over 50GB of mail from primary to secondary volume which is what I would expect, However logging into a users account that had over 87,000 emails (yes that number is correct) with many folders I find they are now ALL GONE, very few left within the users inbox and ZERO folders, As I read the info on HSM it was stated that its use would not effect the end user at all nor would it appear any changes took place ??

HELP! .. this is a major issue that I need help with resolving ASAP .. any direction would very helpful

Hmm .. strange .. rebooted server and all is now as it should be .. I guess it was a fluke .. disregard .. HSM appears to ROCK!

I would open a support ticket with Zimbra straightaway.

FWIW we use HSM and have not any issues like this. Since I keep pretty much all of my emails (even from before using Zimbra starting a few years ago!), my mailbox is one of our biggest utilizers of HSM and I have never seen this issue on our farm nor on any of our clients' systems.

All the best,
Mark
