Hi folks ,

Just wanted to know if the issue of customization for contact fields under address book has been addressed in the upcoming ZCS NE 7 ?

There have been many concerns raised by users in the bugzilla since there is no freedom to customize the address book contact fields .

Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

You should check the bug reports for any fix and the version of Zimbra that it's been targeted then see the status in the Product Portal.

Think you already know what exact help I am looking for. How to add more pre set options in the drop down list of URL (home , work , other) and more fields after notes field. All this in the address book.

You are a consultant and moderator hence a pro. Can you please give me a straight forward answer and not tell me all the time to check with bugzilla / product portals etc.

I mean i am a newbie at this and trying to learn things so that i can understand zimbra , voting for bugs / enhancement is not going to help me in my learning process . Also there are many bugs about customization of address book but nothing has been done about it by zimbra. Have no idea how zimbra development works as to which issue is important and which is not , because many bugs with less votes than others have been fixed in the past.

Sorry about the long reply but i thought it was neccessay. Please help me out here .
