I have Zimbra installed on a server running apache and mysql.
It's possible, just get /etc/hosts configured acording the domain you want to install zimbra for.
Change the port to listen to something like 81 instead of 80 for webmail, if you need webmail.
But pretty mutch the install for one server is straight forward.
Enter enter enter Yes Yes Finish Procedure

Do you own the server? do you have ssh/root/sudo access, or you just have your site somewhere installed, and some Service provides is hosting a site for you?

If you don't have the server, you can not install zimbra.

Okay so to have a server can I convert my laptop install ubuntu and make it a web server of a sort?
I dont have a dedicated web server
I have a godaddy account so I cant do it on that fine.
How can I setup a server with ubuntu on my laptop itself? Will then that be possible to host zimbra on?
