Post Fetchmail entry for catchall account

Dear All,

i am looking for fetchmailrc entry for catall account. currently i am configured the .fetchmailrc like below-

poll 216..118.117.10 with protocol POP3
no dns,aka rjcap.in
envelope "Envelope-to: "
user catchall@rjcap.in pass xxx@xxx is * here

but when i am running the fetchmail command its showing the error -

Final-Recipient: rfc822; rjcap@localhost
Last-Attempt-Date: Wed, 13 Oct 2010 12:22:14 +0530 (IST)
Action: failed
Status: 5.5.2
Diagnostic-Code: 504 5.5.2 <rjcap@localhost>: Recipient address rejected: need fully-qualified address

Please suggest me how to configure the fetchmail.

some details are -

hostname - webmail.rjcap.in
os - RHEL5.5
Zimbra - zimbra community edition 6.0
domain - 4 domain working ( currently working 4 domain in zimbra server)

It's not advisable to use a catchall account, it's a target for spammers and you will end-up with spam that you will be unable to stop arriving in that mailbox.

Release 6.0.7_GA_2473.RHEL5_64_20100616215237 RHEL5_64 FOSS edition.

I have secondary server where i make the catchall account when my primary server goes down then all mail are store that server. that why i need the catchall account to retrieve all mail from secondary server to primary server and distribute the mails to user account.

Please suggest me.

Put that information in your fourm profile as I asked earlier, that way we won't have to keep asking which version of Zimbra you have installed.

What do you mean by a 'secondary server', is it a backup MX server? If it is a backup MX server then using the catchall is not the way to use that feature, please describe in more detail how your servers are configured and their location (also if they're behind a NAT router).

yes its a backup MX server and its hosted at ISP side. i have make only one account on that server and in the mail setting i have set nonexistent mail account forward to catchall mail account.

A backup MX server should automatically forward all the mail to the server (and hence the correct mailboxes) when the primary server comes back on-line, why doesn't yours do that?

Default retrieve mail from external smtp server

hi all,
I'm trying to retrieve e-mail server that sends a GFI mail essentials through an SMTP server that transmits on port 25. I have verified that the server is accessible, but not as pick from zimbra. "through fetchmail?
