Surely the answer would be to not send messages to an empty distribution list or don't create an empty distribution list? The error message is correct for an email that can't be delivered.

How are you automatically creating the distribution lists? Can you create a dummy resource account and add it to all the distribution lists when you create them?

I do it by console. I made a script to delete and create every distribution list.
I can create a resource and add it to the DL, but I wanna know if there is a way to donīt get de error message.

Try that :

Fill your DL's with at least one account.
This account is a specific one that is configured to not keep messages locally.

Go to the forwarding tab in the account modification form. Check the box Do not save a local copy of the message (or something like that. I use the french version).

HTH

Do the above for now (keeping it populated with at least one address shouldn't be to hard - just add a fixed spare resource/account to your re-creation scripts), and for the future vote on Bug 41780 - messages to an empty distribution list should not return bounce
